Transitive and Intransitive verb
Transitive verb
A transitive verb always has an object and sometimes it can be used as an intransitive verb.Example:-
- She eats mango (mange is a object of subject “she”).
Intransitive verb
An intransitive verb always doesn't have any object and sometimes it have an object.Example:-
- She stopped near the bridge (near the bridge isn't an object. It is a prepositional phrase).
- She stopped her car near the bridge (It has an object “her car” now. It is being used as a transitive verb).
