‘May’, ‘can’ aur ‘could’ jo kay Auxiliary verbs hain. in ko hum ajazat (permission) lanay kay leay be istamal kartay hain. ‘may’ ko “formal permission” kay leay aur ‘can’ ko “less formal permission” kay leay istamal kartay hain. Aur ‘could’ ko “past permission” yane maze main ajazat lanay kay leay istamal kartay hain. Examples:-
May I come in class? (Formal) Kiya main class main ha skta hoin?
Can I come in class? (Less formal than ‘May’) Kiya main class main ha skta hoin?
